	Vineyard Manager Under Vineyard Manager Jeff Popick's careful oversight, our vineyards are reaching their full potential and providing extraordinary grapes. Jeff is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. After receiving a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in French from the University of Arizona, Jeff caught the “wine bug” and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Viticulture from University of California at Davis. He then pursued a career in vineyard management spending five years at Mt. Eden Vineyards in Saratoga and then eleven years at Mayacamas Vineyard in Napa Valley. In addition to working part-time for Allied Grape Growers, Jeff writes the weekly weather column for two local wine country newspapers, the St. Helena Star and the Sonoma Valley Sun. Jeff also hosts the weather segments on our local Napa Valley radio station giving weather reports and updates during the harvest. Jeff’s dedicated management of our vineyards is greatly enhancing the superb quality of grapes for fine wine production at Jocelyn Lonen.
